Amazing Breathtaking Sunset at Whiterock Pier

Hello folks welcome to my blog! Many thanks to you for setting aside time to look at my blog.

I simply need to highlight to you all, a place of interest close to us. It is around 30 mins drive from our home. This is the longest pier in Canada the Whiterock pier with one of the most beautiful and spectacular sunsets in the world! It is amazing and breathtaking, indeed.

My family was privileged to be able to visit this beautiful scenery! It's long stretch up 470m/1542 ft into the sea, the milestone dock is a point of interest for all tourist. Stroll to the end of it to see nearby local fisherman catching fish and crabs day by day. Relax in the noteworthy perspectives on the seaside mountains and the San Juan Islands. With the stunning Mt. Baker which is on the horizon when the weather is clear. Go for an after supper walk to see the stunning nightfall's and feel the sea's warm breeze.

 A little bit of history:

White Rock's Pier was originally built on 1914 as a harbor for the beach front steamships that will dock when the Great Northern Railway started activity. Guess what? The Great Northern Railway is still there to this day and the long cargo train still passes from time to time, creating a beautiful scene for tourists because of its very long train. Reestablished and restored around 70 years, the pier still served as a landing dock for little crafts, yet it's long history for steamships dock are a distant memory.
