Really Cool Holding That Title Of Rare Cases In The World A Woman Got Pregnant While She Was Already Pregnant

It is a rare case that a woman becomes pregnant while she is two weeks pregnant. It seems unbelievable but it has gone viral now and that has proven to be true. And even the woman’s profile is now on Instagram and she showed that she become pregnant while she was already pregnant and her twins were a boy and a girl. This woman called Rebecca Robert. The couple Rebecca Robert and Rhys Weaver are struggling to have children. Rebecca has never been pregnant for a long time

due to infertility problems. But with the help of a fertility medications, Roberts found out that she was already pregnant- and while she was pregnant she found out she was pregnant again.

This will never happen and that is absolutely impossible for a woman who is currently pregnant to become pregnant again. And that’s exactly what Rebecca said as she said it on her Instagram page. But Roberts added that that was really true and she was happy and she felt lucky that it happened in her own life. And she gave birth to a boy and a girl at the same time. It so called “super twins”, who were born on the same day but it form and conceive three weeks apart, in September.

This phenomenon is unique as a person and is called “superfetation”. and may hold the record for longest time between conceptions. Past cases include women who conceived again 10 days after becoming pregnant the first time. Holding that title, Roberts said on social media, "is really cool." Three highly unlikely events have to occur for a superfetation to be possible. Superfetation occurs when the second egg has already been fertilized and it has been implanted in the uterus with an already fertilized egg in the uterus.

A fertilized egg has already done so. And it’s really impossible though because once a woman is pregnant, their body produces hormones to prevent ovulation, and it won’t release an egg yet. It will also prevent their body from entering sperm into their cervix and release hormones to inhibit a second fertilized egg from implanting in the uterine wall. Hormones released during pregnancy function to prevent further ovulation. This is also unlikely because once a woman is pregnant, their cervix forms a mucus plug that blocks the passage of sperm. This mucus plug is the result of elevations of hormones produced in pregnancy. This would be difficult because implantation requires the release of certain hormones that wouldn’t be released if a woman were already pregnant.

There is also the issue of having enough space for another embryo. Superfetation is extremely rare. It remains controversial. There have been a few case reports of superfetation in women. And this is exactly what happened to Rebecca Roberts. She said fertility medications seem to have influenced her ovulation. That she ovulated again after her three weeks first conception. Superfetation comes with risks since the fetuses are growing at different stages of the pregnancy.

Roberts was told her younger child, who they've since named Rosalie, might not survive, "It was really, really shocking to be told there were two babies instead of one," Roberts, 39, of Wiltshire, England, told "Good Morning America. " "Then they told me there was a three-week size difference between the two babies that the doctors couldn't understand." "What came after getting pregnant was just such incredible hard work," Roberts told GMA. "It wasn't all happy and rainbows like you expect a pregnancy to be. It was quite scary." And that is exactly how Rebecca felt. She felt fear especially that Rebecca’s daughter Rosalie’s umbilical cord was what kept her from growing and not like Noah. Rosalie weighs only two pounds, 7 ounces, but Noah weighs 4 pounds, 10 ounces. Both children spent time in the NICU.

But after all, the family was reunited at home. They’re all doing well. "Our babies are absolutely amazing," Roberts said on Instagram. “They are really special and I just feel so happy that I’m their mom and I get to share this amazing journey with them.
