Trending News About Hongkonger Being Paralyzed After COVID-19 Vaccine

We have noticed in reports that there are too many negative results when one is ingested that COVID-19 vaccine. Some will experience weakness in their body and some will even die after they have been exposed to the COVID-19 vaccine. Some who are weak of immune system are really at risk of being exposed to that vaccine. It just prove that COVID-19 vaccine is a very strong vaccine that if the human body is weak then it will obviously be harmed. It’s just like this trending now that good thing the situation isn’t too dangerous.

Thu, April 1, 2021, 9:45AM A young and healthy Hong Kong man name Wilson Lam 26, who suffered paralysis half of his face after receiving a COVID-19 jab returned home from a week in hospital, but was told has not yet recovered his normal health. Lam found that he could not close his left eye and his mouth. Felt dizzy and experienced chest pain. He was in the Hospital until Tuesday but continues to suffer side effects. “I still can’t close my left eye and my lip is still crooked with some difficulty speaking and eating”. Lam said Wednesday. He said the swelling on his face subsided a bit and he opened his right eye wider than he could have before treatment.

The man told the Post earlier that he was healthy and active, playing football and running regularly, and the only significant illness in his medical history was the fight of hives when he was 15, from which he was healed. Lam said last week during his hospital stay that doctors had not drawn a conclusion on whether his illness was related to the Sinovac jab. The government approached the doctors involved to find out about the case. Lam is the 12th known city resident to experience Bell’s palsy after receiving a jab. The others were all men aged 37 to 86.

All of them took a Sinovac jab made in China except one, which was given a shot by BioNTech, the only other Covid-19 vaccine offered in Hong Kong. The government lists Bell’s palsy as a rare side effect of works with German BioNTech jabs only. Medical experts found no direct correlation between the 11 cases and the jabs. Experts monitoring vaccinations in the city last week said they will continue to monitor the situation closely and advise authorities and manufacturers to update their product description if the number of vaccinated people who develop the condition is higher than the prevalence of Bell’s palsy among the general population who did not receive shots.

Lam, who was prescribed steroids, eye drops and antiviral medication during his hospital stay, told his doctors that the paralysis was likely to go away within six months but he also warned that there were permanent issue some cases. Lam added that he “definitely” regrets having the jab, saying he has no plans to take a second dose. But to decide whether to seek compensation from the government, he said: "The most important thing now is to cure it." Before the massive inoculation began on February 26, the government set aside HK $ 1 billion (US $ 128 million) for an indemnity fund to offer compensation to anyone suffering from serious adverse reactions. Lam said he will not return to work right now, as he urged health authorities to release a follow-up neurological consultant scheduled for the end of this month. COVID-19 vaccines is really scary. That's why we need to use our discretion about this matter.
